Great Entertainment for the Kids
Not far from Dayton, near the small rural community
of West Alexandria, Ohio, is a little bit of adventure -- a
wild animal sanctuary and zoo.
Looking
for something fun to do with the kids and help out a worthy
cause at the same time? Take
them to see wild exotic animals -- all of which used to belong
to private individuals who found out that exotic animals don't
always make the best house pets.
Each animal has a story. Visit Maggie, a 24-year
old capuchin monkey that was owned by an 83-year old Michigan
woman. Maggie would pick up the phone for her and do other
things to help her around the house before she passed away.
The 12-acre complex outside of the Preble County village of West
Alexandria Ohio, has more than 80 hissing, snarling exotic
animals for you to view.
